Despite having one of the highest scores on the show, Denise Richards has been the second celebrity to be dismissed from the ABC hit show “Dancing With The Stars” on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old actress and her dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were the second pair to go, following singer Belinda Carlisle and Jonathan Roberts.
After a dance-off with another E! reality show star, Holly Madison with her partner Dmitry Chaplin, Denise and Maksim were booted off. Perhaps it was a matter of likeability, as the viewers also get to decide on their ballroom fate. Her bad girl image and her very public and acrimonious battle with ex-husband Charlie Sheen may have affected her standing with the viewers.

From Bond girl to bisexual bubbly-chugger, Denise Richards — at least in her film roles — seems game for most anything. Was it a similar sense of adventure that prompted her to go Dancing with the Stars on the new season of ABC’s popular reality compeition?
“Everybody that I’ve talked to that has done it in the past — Brooke [Burke], Lance [Bass], Lisa Rinna — said it was just the best experience they’ve ever had,” Richards tells TVGuide.com. “Plus, you get in incredible shape.”
